Our Professional Standard

All childcare professionals placed through Lowcountry Nanny & Babysitting Agency must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience

  • Pass a comprehensive background screening

  • Provide professional childcare references

  • Hold current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Be reliable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional childcare

  • Be non-smokers and maintain a smoke-free lifestyle while employed with families

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • Family babysitting, occasional care for relatives, and unpaid childcare experience do not count toward our minimum experience requirements

Are all caregivers screened?

Our placement services include one-on-one agency support, candidate recruitment and screening, contract assistance, background checks, ongoing support before and after placement, and a six-month replacement guarantee.

What happens if my placement does not work out?

We offer a six-month replacement guarantee. If a placement ends within the guarantee period and all agency terms have been met, we will assist in finding a replacement caregiver at no additional placement fee.

How long does the placement process take?

Placement timelines vary depending on the position, schedule, and family requirements. Most placements are completed within a few weeks, although specialized positions may take longer.

Can you help with part-time and full-time placements?

Yes. We assist families seeking both part-time and full-time childcare solutions.
